Mary Gauthier comes from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but has lived
for many years in Boston, Massachusetts. Her debut CD 'Dixie Kitchen' led to her being nominated for the 1998 Boston Music Award, Best New Contemporary Folk Act. Mary's strength lies in her ability to tackle subjects not usually touched upon by 'country' singers. |

Hank Williams than to Dolly or Tammy. Her songwriting talents far exceed
